Romsey’s Get Snapping Photo competition has captured the hearts of local residents.
Romsey resident Sandy Webb placed second in the competition and said she was surprised at her winning result.
“A lot of the photos in the competition were professionally done. Mine was done from the heart,” Ms Webb said.
Her winning photograph showcased the woolly and feathered animals she has on her farm in Romsey.
“I portrayed my love for animals [in the photo],” Ms Webb said.
“There were sheep, duck, chickens … it was one big happy family, walking along in one straight line.”
Webb said she never had an interest in photography but wanted to portray to everyone what her home meant to her in her photograph.
“It was great to showcase how beautiful our township is,” Ms Webb said.
More than 100 entries of photos of life in Romsey competed for the top prize. Entries were submitted from budding 11-year-old photographers to senior members of the community.
