Hardwicks celebrates, customers get the treats

This year has proved a challenge one way or another for everyone, but it hasn’t stopped Hardwicks of Kyneton gearing up for its second birthday celebrations – where it’s the customers who get the party treats.

Operating out of the Hardwicks Meatworks site since 2007, this progressive butcher shop changed its name to Hardwicks of Kyneton
and relocated to 180 Mollison Street two years ago.

It prides itself on selling quality meat at wholesale prices direct to the public, but to mark the second birthday of Hardwicks, its valued customers can get some
amazing specials this week until Sunday, December 6.

Manager Andrew Barnes says he and his team greatly appreciated the continued support received throughout a challenging year for all, and the birthday discounts are a way of saying a big thank-you.

The state-of-the-art facility provides customers with a unique new level of access. They can actually go right into the butcher’s cool room display to select the cut and quantity of meat that’s exactly right for them.

“Customers love the cool room experience, being able to select from a wider range of cuts themselves,” Andrew says.

“The atmosphere at our shop is based on simple values, great product, great prices and great country service – another aspect locals continue to appreciate.”

The butcher shop sells a huge range of fresh lamb, beef and chicken products, along with an extensive range of frozen seafood and chicken. A large selection of smallgoods is also available, and bulk meat is sold as well.

“Looking after our customers is a big focus for us – in fact, we set out to make them feel a part of the family. If anyone needs a special order filled or has a specific request, they shouldn’t hesitate to contact us in person or by phone or email.

“And if they’d like to receive weekly specials right to their inbox, they can sign up via our website.”

Andrew concludes by acknowledging the level of support from the community since launching the new venture.

“We remain very grateful – and love seeing the many more new customers coming through our door.”
