Silk painting workshop

Artist Margaret Morgan will host a silk painting workshop at the Woodend Art Gallery on Sunday, July 8, 10am-3pm. Learn to use silk paint on stretched silk and Japanese Yupo paper. Cost $65-$75 plus materials.

Women of war

Discover the stories of women who returned from serving in World War I at the Kyneton Museum’s new exhibition, Women of Empire: Homecoming. The exhibition opens on Friday, July 6 and runs until Sunday, September 16. The museum is at 67 Piper Street and is open Friday to Sunday, 11am-4pm.
