Hip hop halloween

Dig out your spookiest, kookiest costume because it’s Halloween theme at the upcoming bluelight disco at Sunbury Memorial Hall on October 28. The disco, for primary-aged children, runs from 6pm until 8pm. Entry $7.

Nitty gritty of village life

Macedon Ranges council will be drilling deeper into best practice and processes for improving how community groups, committees and organisations govern themselves, this Thursday from 7pm until 8.30pm at Woodend community centre.

Pony training day

Woodend Pony Club hosts a combined training day at Racecourse Reserve on September 18. A breakfast barbecue will welcome pony club and open riders from around the state to a day of combined training, including dressage and show-jumping.

Laugh it up

Learn to swim

Kids can learn to swim at Kyneton Aquatic Centre in a five-day intensive course. These 30-minute classes will be held from Monday to Friday the first week of September holidays (September 19). They are suitable for children aged three years and over. Bookings are essential.
