Furniture fundraiser for kinder

Woodend Men’s Shed members have taken up tools to craft a children’s table and matching bench seats to help kindergarten kids. The shed is donating the furniture for an auction being held at the Woodend kinder’s fundraising charity night on July 30. Shed spokesman Bill Hebb said members were happy to help the kinder, which is trying to raise money for new play equipment. Many items have been donated for the trivia night and auction, which is being held at Norma Richardson Hall from 7.30pm.
