Market to market

The new Sunbury Village Market will commence at the Sunbury Memorial Hall and Village Green, Stawell Street, this Saturday, August 13, 9am until 2pm. New stalls and car boot sites available.

Maximise your impact

Expand Your Impact is a skills training day for people who want to make great stuff happen for themselves, their communities or at work. The workshop is on this Saturday, August 13, at Lancefield Guesthouse, 71 Main Road Lancefield.

LGBTI social support

Mix and mingle at a social and support group get-together for transgender, gender-diverse, gender-fluid or gender- questioning people aged 12-25, who live, work or play in Macedon Ranges. The next gathering is August 23 at Woodend Community Centre, corner High and Forest streets, Woodend.

Bush dance for Kidzone

A community bush dance will raise funds for Kidzone OSHC Romsey on Saturday, August 20, at Kerrie Hall. There will be food and drinks, a dance caller, silent auction and more. Family tickets $25, singles $15 from Romsey post office, Ray White Romsey or Encourage Church.

Trick or treatment

Pills and potions to fix anything from baldness to dimples are on display at the Trick or Treatment exhibition at Kyneton Museum. The exhibition explores the medical quackery that was rife in the Victorian era. Friday to Sunday, 11am-4pm, until October 16.

Cool for Kids

Help kids with cancer and their families and friends at a night of music, fun and dancing when The Naturally Cool Big Band performs at Sunbury Bowling Club from 7.30pm, August 20. Tickets: $30; proceeds to Royal Children’s Hospital.

Bluelight disco
