A number of local Sunbury community groups and organisations have benefited from the latest grant funding from Villawood Properties.
Villawood’s Sunbury Community Grant campaign has awarded 10 recipients a total of $8000 in $1000 and $500 grants.
Villawood said the grants are part of a broader Sunbury contribution of more than $40,000 a year to groups including the Sunbury Basketball Association, Rupertswood Football and Netball Club, Sunbury Cricket Club, Goonawarra Neighbourhood House and Salesian College.
The latest recipients include Kismet Park Primary School, Sunbury Garden Club, Sunbury Senior Citizens Club, CareWorks Sunranges, Sunbury Neighbourhood House, Sunbury Fire Brigade, Concept Studios of Performing Arts, Sunbury Woodworkers Club, 1st Sunbury Scouts, and Macedon Ranges Softball Club.
