The Bendigo Netball League has announced the reappointment of Gisborne coach Tarryn Rymer as the coach of the league’s open interleague side for next year.
The league said that Rymer’s leadership and dedication were instrumental to the team in 2024, and her re-appointment reflects the league’s confidence in her ability to continue developing the team’s on-court performance and fostering a culture of excellence.
Rymer has also led the Bulldogs to the past two A-grade netball premierships.
Joining Rymer on the coaching panel are Jayden Cowling and Stephanie Freemantle, who will serve as assistant coaches and form part of the team’s selection panel.
Both bring extensive experience and deep knowledge of the game, ensuring the team’s selection process and preparation are of the highest standard.
BFNL general manager, Tom King said they were delighted to have Rymer back at the helm of their open representative netball team.
“With the addition of Jayden and Stephanie, we are confident that this coaching panel will guide our open team to great success in 2025,” he said.
Ryemer is excited for the opportunity again.
“I’m honored to continue as the coach of the BFNL open representative team,” she said. “It’s a privilege to work with such talented athletes and dedicated colleagues like Jayden and Stephanie. Together, we’re committed to achieving outstanding results and representing the BFNL with pride.”
Preparations for the representative season will commence in 2025, with club nominations and training sessions to be announced in the early in the new year.
