Sunbury households have had their water supply impacts fixed, following a burst water main in Macedon Street in the early hours of Monday morning.
Reports of the burst were posted to Facebook this morning, with the Sunbury SES also attending the scene.
A Greater Western Water (GWW) spokesperson said they are responding to the burst to repair the fault as soon as possible.
“The burst temporarily affected water supply to some households in the area and the Sunbury Square Shopping Centre,” they said.
“There are currently no water supply impacts to homes in the area or the shopping centre.
“We are working closely with Sunbury Square Shopping Centre management and a trader who was impacted by the burst this morning.”
GWW said they apologise for any inconvenience and appreciate the community’s patience and understanding as they work to complete repairs.
Investigations are continuing to determine the exact cause of the burst.
