A new pedestrian footbridge over Five Mile Creek in Woodend opened on June 18, with many community members attending the unveiling ceremony.
The 24-metre footbridge was gifted from a long-time Woodend resident and Landcare Group member Josephine Clancy.
Family, friends, community members, Councillors, council staff, the bridge’s designer and contractor attended the event.
A plaque was also unveiled to commemorate the bridge’s opening and Ms Clancy’s contribution.
