Round two of the Australia Cup this weekend

Sunbury United will be hoping its second time lucky in the Australia Cup this weekend.

After having a forfeit in round one, Sunbury has been drawn to play Shepparton United.

A local Wyndham derby is among the other highlights in the second round of the Victorian stage.

A total of 76 teams are in this round consisting of the winners of last weekend’s games and the teams who received a bye in the first draw.

The teams range from men’s state league 3 to 5, as well as clubs from the metropolitan and regional leagues.

Neighbours West Point and Truganina Hornets have been drawn to face each other in the knockout competition.

State league 4 north champions Uni Hill Eagles has been drawn to face Fortuna ‘60, while new state league 5 west side Tarneit United has been drawn to play Croydon City.

Williamstown will face Springvale City, while Westside Strikers, who are coming off a bye in round one, face Chisholm United.

Laverton is on the road against St Kilda, while the Western Eagles will travel to face the Sebastopol Vikings.

The Plenty Valley Lions will face the Bayside Argonauts and Spring Hills will face Lara United.

and Point Cook will travel to face Tatura.

Greenvale United is set to face Noble Park United, Heidelberg Stars will play Melton Phoenix, Keilor Wolves will travel to face Glen Waverley and La Trobe University will play Barwon.
