Nine nominate for Sunbury

Voters living in Sunbury, Diggers Rest, Bulla, Wildwood, Tullamarine, Melbourne Airport and Gladstone Park will cast their votes in the Sunbury electorate.

Nine candidates have nominated for the election in Sunbury. They are: Simmone Cottom (Liberal), Josh Bull (Labor), Rohanna Mohr (Animal Justice Party), Lyle Shelton (Family First Victoria), Cary De Wit (Labour DLP), James Gallagher (Victorian Socialists), Richard Burke (Greens), Rushi Vijaykumar Patel (New Democrats) and Laurence Pincini (Independent).

Following the 2020-21 redistribution of state electorate boundaries, the Sunbury electorate lost 2197 voters to the seat of Niddrie

Mr Bull has held the seat since Sunbury was created as a notionally Labor district for the 2014 election, holding a very safe margin of 14.5 per cent.
