Faster broadband for the Macedon Ranges

Macedon MP Mary-Anne Thomas has announced the state government has partnered with NBN Co to deliver six broadband infrastructure projects in Macedon.

Businesses and households will have access to faster broadband services in: Woodend, Kyneton, Macedon and Mt Macedon.

The government said it would deliver the faster broadband by mid-2025, in partnership with NBN Co, Opticomm, and Swoop.

“Exciting changes and innovative projects are happening in Macedon and they need good-quality connectivity to support them. This investment will help more local businesses to succeed and communities to thrive,” Ms Thomas said.

“Locals in Woodend, Kyneton, Macedon and Mt Macedon deserve to have fast broadband coverage – which the Victorian government is delivering. It helps support businesses and will be a game changer for the local economies.”

“This will be a game-changer for many in our community, we are supporting the area’s growth by ensuring everyone can access the online tools, services and information they need to thrive.”
