After postponements and cancellations because of the pandemic, organisers of the Lancefield Agricultural Show say they are gutted to have to call off this Sunday’s event due to the weather.
Show commitee member Montana Fitzgerald said the group will meet next week to discuss what the future of the show will be in 2022.
“Everyone is pretty devastated… considering we have had two years of COVID-19,” Ms Fitzgerald said.
“We have faced a few challenges in the planning and kept positive, but unfortunately it is what it is.”
In a Facebook post, the show committee said they would be selling grazing boxes full of local produce to ensure nothing goes to waste.
Home crafts will still go ahead in the Laurie Green Pavilion.
