People living in Hume who are searching for work are being encouraged to attend a Melbourne Airport jobs expo later this month.
The expo, which is only open to Hume residents, will be held at Town Hall Broadmeadows on Thursday, August 18.
Job seekers will have the chance to meet with businesses based at Melbourne Airport, find out about job opportunities and directly apply for jobs on the day.
According to Hume council, there will be roles available in customer service and front of house, hospitality and retail, security, cleaning and trolley collection, facilities maintenance and trades (plumbing, handyperson and electricians) and car rental operations.
Council said there will be up to 10 exhibitors on the day. The exhibitors will be confirmed closer to the event.
It is recommended that attendees bring along their resume.
The expo will be held over two sessions: 11am-12.30pm or 12.30-2pm.
