Twenty cars damaged on Calder Freeway

More than 20 cars were damaged while travelling along the Calder Freeway in Macedon this morning.

Police said it is believed scaffolding allegedly fell from a truck on the Calder Freeway, Melbourne-bound, near Black Forest Drive just after 7am.

“A number of drivers pulled over to the side of the freeway with punctures and damage to their vehicles,” police said.

“No one was injured.

“A truck did not stop at the scene and police are investigating.”

Any witnesses or anyone with dash cam footage is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or make a report online at www.crimestoppersvic.com.au.
