Hume council is offering additional mulch days this weekend to assist with property maintenance heading into fire season.
Hume residents can visit the Sunbury Parks and Services Depot today or the Council Parks and Services Depot in Coolaroo tomorrow to drop off tree debris for mulching.
Quantities of up to four cubic metres of freshly cut tree branches can be accepted from any vehicles.
Council’s service centres do not accept other materials such as bricks, concrete, thorny plants or roses for mulching.
