A Sunbury man has walked away with $797,532 from the weekend’s TattsLotto draw.
The man held one of eight division one winning entries from the draw on Saturday, August 14, winning $797,532 each.
Speaking with an official from Tattslotto, the man said he had marked the event by cracking open a bottle of scotch he’d been saving for a special occasion.
“It’s a life-changing win for me, I’ve been through some tough years, so it’s really come at a fantastic time, so thank you so much,” he said.
“It’s quite overwhelming thinking about all of this money and what to do with it.
“I’d always dreamed of winning division one but never actually expected it to happen.”
“It’s going to do wonders for my life. It’s just wonderful!”
The winning entry was purchased at Lottery Rosenthal Village on Vineyard Road in Sunbury.
