The Sunbury Ladies Badminton Club is celebrating all things women this month.
The club has partnered with Badminton Victoria to encourage women to pick up a racquet and join in the fun at come and try days throughout March.
Club secretary Cathie Briggs said the come and try days was the club’s way of celebrating International Women’s Day.
“Come and be part of the fun and the camaraderie that we experience every week,” she said.
“It’s a good way to get us all together. It’s a great place.
“People are always welcome to come and try. Women of all ages, abilities and cultures are welcome.
“We are celebrating International Women. We are an inclusive club and we love to embrace our sport.”
Coaching will be provided and free gift bags will be handed out on the day.
The next come and try day is on Monday, March 29 at Eric Boardman Stadium, 120 Wilsons Lane, Sunbury between 9.30am-12.30pm.
