Begin a journey together

Holy Cross feast day was celebrated with a liturgy at Holy Cross Primary School in New Gisborne last week, with the service streamed online to families throughout the Macedon Ranges.

Principal Tony Falls says that in the present environment, it was a great chance to reconnect and prepare for the future.

“The resilience and co-operation shown during remote learning has been a credit to students, families and staff,” Mr Falls says. “We have all learnt a number of new skills which will no doubt be put to good use.

“We take this chance to say a big thank you to the staff for their professionalism and the support they have given our families.”

Term 4 is looking exciting for the year 5 and 6 students, who will go to an outdoor adventure camp near Dandenong.

“We are hopeful,” Mr Falls continues, “that the year 6 students will also have the opportunity to attend their graduation event which is a Holy Cross tradition in December.

“I have spoken to many new families who are joining the Holy Cross family next year and they are excited, as are we, at beginning a new journey together.”

Enrolments are open all year, while prospective families can take a virtual tour of the school via the website below.
