Pupils from three learning centres have spent the past month helping to clean up Wyndham’s natural environment.
Each Thursday during October, youngsters from Sparrow Early Learning Tarneit, Sparrow Early Learning Tarneit Central and Sparrow Early Learning Wyndham Waters took part in the Environmental October project.
The children picked up rubbish and conducted general clean-ups in local parks, open spaces and streets.
Streets which the children have helped to beautify include Jefferson Street, Mercantour Boulevard and Rondane Drive in Tarneit.
Within the previous month, some Sparrow Early Learning centres in Wyndham also participated in a Sustainable September program.
