Man charged following Sunbury armed robberies

A man has been arrested and charged in relation to several armed robberies committed in Sunbury in the past month.

Hume detectives arrested the 20-year-old man Tuesday following investigations into robberies that took place in Sunbury between May 7 and May 13.

Police said cash, mobile phones and personal items were stolen in the robberies.

The man was charged with two armed robberies, robbery and other related offences. He was remanded overnight and will appear at Melbourne Magistrates Court this morning.
