Sunbury Community Health’s BoilOver inclusive performance ensemble will be the centre of attention during its Into-Me-See stage show.
BoilOver presents unique and innovative performances that take the stigma out of disability.
Creative producer and director Carmen Maddison said the show was an opportunity to see the artist’s individual storyline through their alter egos and emotional worlds.
“The performance follows the nine lives of ensemble members,” Maddison said.
“It focuses on the intimacy and what we keep inside and what we show.”
Maddison said the show was made possible by a $10,000 grant from Brimbank council’s Festival and Events Grants Funding program, because the show will be staged at The Bowery Theatre.
“It was really amazing to get council recognition,” Maddison said.
The performance will be on Saturday, December 15 at The Bowery Theatre, 1 Princess Street, St Albans.
Tickets are $20 for adults, $15 for concession and $15 for groups of six and more.
