In preparation for Mother’s Day and winter weather, Macedon Ranges Spinners and Fibre Group is holding its annual exhibition and sales on May 6 and 7 in Gisborne.
While some pieces will be for display, all things woolen will be for sale, including gloves, socks, scarves, beanies and even children’s toys.
Spinning and knitting demonstrations will take place and group members will be available to answer questions about the crafts.
This not-for profit group began in 1983 after the Ash Wednesday Bushfires to connect people in the community.
Members meet from noon-4pm on Tuesdays at the Riddells Creek Neighbourhood House. All ages and genders are welcome.
The exhibition and sales will take place in the Patch N Quilt shop in Gisborne on the weekend of May 6 and 7.
