Sunbury teens makes a splash at paintball centre this winter

A day-out at a paintball centre will give Sunbury teenagers a chance to have some fun and forget about Melbourne’s dreary winter weather during the school holidays.

Hume council youth services team has organised a visit to the Sunbury paintball centre as part of its winter program.

Young people taking part in today’s event will be kitted out in camouflage and protective gear for a series of tasks designed to promote teamwork, leadership and resilience.

“[They] will work in teams as they undertake thrilling challenges,” mayor Helen Patsikatheodorou said.

The council’s holiday program also includes art competitions, an open mic night, a soccer tournament and visits to the Melbourne Sports and Aquatic Centre and Melbourne Museum.
