Indigenous youth can learn all aspects of film production as part of a free four-day Sunbury Community Health (SCH) workshop.
Young people aged 12-24 will be shown how to write, direct, act, shoot and edit their own production as part of the Short and Deadly Ngawan Films digital storytelling project.
SCH Aboriginal engagement officer Gail Radford says films created during the workshop will feature in a short film festival.
‘‘We’ll also be looking to hold another workshop later in the year, with the kids given the chance to pass on their skills to adults.’’
Short and Deadly Ngawan Films is at Sunbury Neighbourhood House April 5-8. Details: 9744 9564
